snow plowing services
New Life Landscapes offers snow plowing services for personal homes, road associations and commercial properties. We operate a skid steer tractor on rubber tracks, which helps prevent and minimize damage to asphalt and concrete compared the use of metal snow chains that many companies use.
Rates for snow plowing services are based on a $50 ‘Drop Fee’ any time the tractor is unloaded from the trailer, then $180/hour until the tractor is reloaded into the trailer. Multiple neighbors or properties have the ability to split the cost of the Drop Fee if they collectively use our services.
(We are currently exploring the option of a truck-mounted 'V-Plow' which will expand our options and allow us to take care of main roads and open areas mush faster than the skid steer tractor. If and when this happens, the rate structure for the truck mounted plow will be different.)
Visibility is typically limited when there is snow on the ground, so New Life Landscapes can not be responsible for damage to plants, landscaping, curbs, personal items not visible under the snow, etc. Property owners are recommended to place Hi-visibility, reflective road/driveway markers at key points to direct the snow plow operators and prevent damage to their personal property. New Life Landscapes and the snow plow operator will use their best judgment and abilities to prevent such damage.
If property owners desire to have New Life Landscapes place Hi-visibility reflective road/driveway markers, this service is offered for $100 plus $2.50 per marker placed. If a property owner uses New Life Landscapes for this service, and damage to a property is caused by the snow plow operator, New Life Landscapes will cover the cost of repair of the damages up to $250.
For collective neighborhoods or Neighborhood Associations, there is a designated person who is the main point of contact. This person makes the call whether services are desired or not for the collective or common road. New Life Landscapes can not be responsible to make the call to provide services, because the weather in our area is often unpredictable, and we rely on ‘eyes on the ground’ to make the call whether services will be performed. This responsibility lies on the designated main point of contact. *Once the designated main point of contact makes the call to New Life Landscapes to perform services on the collective or common road, it becomes the individual property owner’s responsibility to cancel or call off services if they are not desired for the individual’s property. If the individual property owner does not contact New Life Landscapes via phone call, text, or e-mail prior to snow plowing services being performed on the property, payment will be due upon receipt of invoice.
